Fish House is where Bucharest meets the sea—a place built on the pure joy of fresh fish and seafood. We start with the day’s best catch: fish straight from the boats, oysters picked by hand, and treasures like king crab and lobster. Here, the ingredients lead the way, turned into dishes that feel both simple and extraordinary.
It all began with Chef Zoran Savic, who dreamed of a seafood spot that Romania could call its own. With years of experience and a deep respect for the sea’s bounty, he set out to create something honest and delicious. We scour the world for the finest fish and shellfish, bringing them to your plate with care and a light touch—no fuss, just flavor.

Fish House isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a love letter to the sea, right in the heart of the city. Whether you’re here for a quiet dinner or a special night out, we’re proud to share our table with you—one that’s fresh, warm, and unmistakably ours.

Our Chef & Founder: Zoran "Zoki" Savic
Zoran Savic—Zoki to everyone who knows him—grew up in Rijeka, Croatia, in a fisherman’s family. The daily catch wasn’t just food; it was a way of life, a rhythm he felt from childhood. At 15, he found his place in the kitchen, trading the docks for stovetops. In Rijeka, he cooked in restaurants that mattered, places where seafood was treated with respect, and he learned to let the ingredients tell their own story.

In 2012, Bucharest called. Zoki arrived to take on a head chef role at a local spot, a new city with new tables to set. He moved through a few kitchens here, each one teaching him something about what people craved. By December 16, 2016, he was ready for his own. Fish House opened at 7 p.m. that night—no menus, just Zoki, some fresh fish, and a hunch. The room filled up, and it worked.
Today, Fish House is where Zoki’s past meets Bucharest’s present. It’s grown into a place people come for seafood that feels right—simple, fresh, done with care. His Croatian roots still show up, too, in little ways: a drizzle of olive oil, a glass of wine, a hint of fresh truffle, or a splash of spirit, all brought from the places he first called home. For Zoki, it’s not about flash—it’s about the fish, the people, and keeping it real.
